RDDC offers the extended Level 3 Diploma (Two year course) which is a high-quality equivalent of three A levels.

Course Information

Our full time triple threat programme offers you intensive specialist training in dance, singing and acting, equipping you with the skills needed to become a well rounded performer and for a career in the professional entertainment industry.

Subjects studied include:

  • Choreography
  • Musical Theatre
  • Ballet / Tap/ Jazz/ Contemporary / Commercial
  • Acting Through Song
  • Acting For Screen
  • Aerial Skills
  • Improvisation
  • One-to-one vocal coaching

Course Fees

RDDC is is both a funded and private fee paying college. We are able to offer RSL Level 3 Qualifications with SCL Education as part of our course for 16-18 year olds. This is a fully funded government qualification for 19 hours per week. Students do not need to apply separately for this funding, this is awarded automatically upon successful enrolment and registration.

We then offer top up hours which make up an additional 13–16 hours a week. These hours are associated with an additional £3000 charge per year, which is due privately to RDDC.

Weekly Workshops

We also offer weekly workshops from industry professionals and a weekly one to one singing lesson with our singing teachers.

Previous industry professionals include Actor Cleve September, Choreographer Richard Peakman, Dancer Kane Silver, Choreographer Jon Smith, Actor Jodie Steele, Director/ Writer/ Performer Vivyan Ellacott, Founder of Theatretrain Kevin Dowsett and many more.

Performance Opportunities

Not only do our students perform their annual musical production at Kenneth More Theatre, they also have the opportunity to perform at multiple events including:

  • Royal Albert Hall Choral Festival
  • Local Events and more

Guided Third Year

Our optional free guided third year programme offers our graduates the opportunity to continue their training with us part time whilst still auditioning/working. Take part in classes and industry workshops. work on your audition and showreel material, help build your connection with agencies and industry pros and receive work opportunities whether that be performing in one of our venues in house productions, teaching, or working backstage/front of house.
